Meetings
Meetings are on the first Wednesday of
each month from September to June (except for December) starting at 7:00
P.M. and are held at the
South
Regional Library at 2101 Lake Robbins Drive (across from H.E.B.) near the corner of Lake
Robbins and Grogan's Mill in The Woodlands. The meetings are
normally held in the conference room to the immediate left of the front
doors to the library; however, sometimes we meet in the children's room in
the back of the library on the first floor. We are usually adjourned by 8:30
P.M.
The meeting format includes a welcome to visitors,
a review of the upcoming hiking and camping dates and plans, and a
featured speaker. The speaker is typically a member who is invited
to do a program on a recent hiking experience, or an outside speaker
provides a program on nature, wildlife conservation, camping gear, or
sports medicine.
Sign-up sheets are available for those interested
in participating in upcoming hikes, campouts, and special trips/events.
Refreshments are provided by
members.
